Official Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification: RHIT and ECLEE Honor Awardees in Yaoundé

On Monday, February 17, 2025, an official Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification ceremony was held in Yaoundé. Organized by the Rousseau Higher Institute of Technology (RHIT) in partnership with the European Center for Leadership and Entrepreneurship Education (ECLEE), this event marked a key milestone for the learners who completed the intensive February training.

International Recognition for Participants

Following a rigorous training session from February 12 to 14 in Douala, led by Professor Mahamouda Salouhou, an international expert and certifier, several learners successfully passed the final assessment and obtained their Yellow Belt certification. This distinction attests to their mastery of the fundamental principles of Lean Six Sigma, a globally recognized methodology for process optimization and performance improvement.

A Ceremony Dedicated to Excellence

The certification ceremony brought together awardees, representatives from RHIT and ECLEE, as well as professionals and academic stakeholders. In his speech, Professor Salouhou highlighted the importance of Lean Six Sigma in a rapidly evolving economic landscape:

“This certification is more than just a diploma. It is a powerful tool for those who aspire to excel in their field and add value to businesses.”

A Springboard to New Opportunities

The awardees of this cohort join an international community of certified professionals capable of diagnosing, analyzing, and improving processes across various industries. Some have already expressed their ambition to further enhance their skills by pursuing Green Belt and Black Belt certifications.

A Promising RHIT – ECLEE Partnership

With this first official certification ceremony in Yaoundé, RHIT and ECLEE reaffirm their commitment to providing world-class training to Cameroonian talents. This success paves the way for further initiatives aimed at strengthening employability and competitiveness in the international job market.

This promising collaboration between RHIT and ECLEE continues to evolve, with the ambition of guiding even more students and professionals toward academic and industrial excellence.
