BEng IN MECHANICAL ENGINEERING

Four (4) Years

Progress requirements

The total number of credits to be taken by the student in any of the two semesters should not exceed the maximum UB requirement which is 36 credits per semester.

Graduation Requirements

To graduate a student must earn a minimum of 240 credits in all courses. This includes the 18 credits for University wide courses which are taken by all students of the University of RHIa.

Almost any machine or process you can think of in modern life has benefited from the input of a mechanical engineer.

Mechanical engineers are responsible for the analysis, design and manufacture of an enormous range of industrial products and systems; almost anything with moving parts, from washing machines and wind turbines to automobiles and aircraft.

As a mechanical engineer, you will use your creative and inventive skills to design and improve products and processes alongside fundamental:

  • physics
  • complex mathematics
  • state-of-the-art engineering software
