RHIT Students on a Study Tour in Kribi: Learning, Exploration and Team Spirit

At Rousseau Higher Institute of Technology (RHIT), learning goes beyond the classroom. This April, over 40 of our students had the opportunity to embark on a Study Tour to Kribi, blending professional discovery with cultural immersion.

The highlight of the trip was a guided tour of the Kribi Deep Sea Port, one of Central Africa’s major maritime gateways. Welcomed by a senior officer, students explored the port’s operational structure, logistics flow, and strategic importance. The visit offered a hands-on learning experience where our future engineers, managers, and legal professionals engaged directly with real-world systems, asked insightful questions, and observed the application of their academic knowledge.

But learning at RHIT also embraces balance and wellbeing. After the visit, students enjoyed some well-deserved relaxation in the beautiful coastal city of Kribi. Staying in a private beach villa, they combined discovery with leisure, strengthening their bonds and enjoying moments of camaraderie in an inspiring environment.

This trip reflects our educational philosophy: immersive, practical, and connected to the real world. Because preparing students for the future means exposing them to the world — with structure, openness, and care.

A heartfelt thank you to the Kribi Port Authority for their warm welcome and to all those who helped make this experience unforgettable.
